Natalie Fernandez is a queer, first-generation Latina, photographer based in Los Angeles. Their work focuses on concert photography of the Los Angeles DIY/punk scene, portraiture, and fine art. Nat uses photography to express individuality in others and herself through captivating colors, perspectives, and storytelling. Nat strives to create images that captivate and make viewers feel encapsulated in the image. Nat attends Pasadena Community College where she is studying photography and helped create the Photography Zine Club.
Nat fell in love with the Los Angeles DIY/punk scene at 16 which blossomed into their everlasting passion for photography. Therefore her photography in the scene serves as a love letter that documents their love for the authentic, cultural, and historical significance that the DIY/punk scene holds.
